We respect data minimization principles. This means that we collect only a minimal amount of personal information that is necessary for your use of the Website. We use your personal information for limited, specified and legitimate purposes explicitly mentioned in this privacy policy. We do not re-purpose your personal data. This means that we do not use it for any purposes that are different from the purposes for which your personal information was provided.
Below, you can find an overview of the personal information that we collect, the purposes for which we use it, and the legal bases on which we rely when processing your personal information.

I. Personal information provided by you

  • Orders. When you purchase the Products through the Website, we collect your first name, last name, address, shipping address, email address, and telephone number. We use this information to send you transactional receipts, deliver you your orders, contact you, if necessary, and maintain our business records. The legal bases on which we rely are ‘performing a contract with you’ and ’pursuing our legitimate interests’ (i.e., to administer our business). We will store this information for as long as required by the applicable law (at least 7 years).
  • Payments. When you make a payment, our payment processors Stripe and PayPal collect your payment details (e.g., name, credit card number, expiration date, security code, or PayPal details). Please note that the types of personal information that you need to submit depend on the payment processor chosen by you. We do not have access to your full payment information; only a part of your personal information is made available to us by the payment processors. Your payment information is used to process payments and maintain our accounting records. The legal bases on which we rely are ‘performing our contractual obligations’ and ‘pursuing our legitimate interests’ (i.e., to administer our business). We store such data for the time period prescribed by law (at least 7 years).

In most cases, such analytics data is non-personal and it does not allow us to identify you as a natural person. However, some of such data like your IP address may be considered personal data and we will make sure that we have the necessary legal basis for processing such data. When we process your analytics data that is personal data, we rely on the ‘legitimate interest’ (i.e., to analyze and improve the Website) and ‘your consent’ bases. • Refusal to Provide Personal Information. If you decide not to provide us with your personal information when we ask for it, we may not be able to perform the requested operation (for example, process your order) and you may not be able to use the full functionality of the Website, receive the requested information, or get our response. Please notify us immediately if you think that any personal information that we collect is excessive or not necessary for its intended purpose.
  • Combined Information. In case your non-personal information is combined with certain elements of your personal information in a way that allows us to identify you as an individual, we will handle such aggregated data as personal information. If your personal data is de-identified in a way that it can no longer be associated with an identified or identifiable natural person, it will not be considered personal information and we may use it for any legitimate purpose.

3. Retention Period

We keep your personal information only for as long as such personal information is required for the purposes described in this privacy policy or until you request us to update or delete your personal information, whichever comes first. We do not store any personal information longer than strictly necessary.

Storage of Non-personal Information. We keep your non-personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this privacy policy. This may include storing non-personal information for the period of time needed for us to examine our business activities, fulfill our contractual obligations, pursue our legitimate interests, conduct audits, comply with (and demonstrate compliance with) legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
